I said they COULD throw the (actual) arrow at each other as long as the other person is playing along and they know it's coming. I did not anticipate how terrifying it would be when 4 year old, Nelinha grabbed the arrow, held it poised to throw and with a gleam in her eye and Nehemiah trapped in the corner, asked, "Do you know this is coming?!"
Then she threw it and we all screamed and laughed.
It started a long game of running through the house, screaming, laughing and running away while being chased by whoever is holding the arrow.
All the while the victim is shrieking , "NO, I don't know it's coming!!!"
