Leaving Normal part 3

Much has happened since we moved in to this house. Ever so slowly it has been growing into a home.
-Tiles, cupboards, an oven, fridge, kitchen sink, bathrooms, walls torn down, rebuilt, door frames and doors installed, a shower.. 'aahhhh'.
Some of that progress worked toward the transformation from four walls and roof to , "home". The rest of the transformation is happening due to more personal changes in our life here.

We have made so many new friends. We picnicked with part of the church that meets a couple blocks from our house. It takes us 7 or 8 minutes to walk there on Sundays. The children got to paddle boat, fish, pet cows and eat healthy food.
We attended a little boys birthday party last Saturday. All our children got to take short horse back rides and swing at a pinata. It exploded with balloons and little toys.
There is a third group of people. They feed the poor children in my neighborhood and teach them about the love of God. Leon and the older children go to those meetings sometimes and play music for the children.
Leon goes out to breakfast with various new friends and business connections and I reach out and make friends everywhere I go.
We love it here! Can you be in love with air? It is sometimes thick and warm and at other times it's... hard to describe. Rich, fresh, it holds me. I want more!
We have already found our sources for fresh raw milk, meat, eggs and produce.
There are things that we don't like too.

As I'm writing this it seems like things are happening so fast, (We've only been here since February 8th), but it doesn't feel fast. It's just right.
It all came together at the right time and with some pain like Nelinha's first tooth that is just starting to break through this afternoon.
