It's been a long time. Life had been almost too much for a while but now we are settling down again. We have been swimming, riding bikes, singing, enjoying our health and enjoying friends and family. Ephraim should be coming home within the next 2 weeks as his Visa expires the middle of April. I am trying to settle down into some patterns so that schooling and preparing meals is easier again and with the hopes of getting back to sewing and writing more. We have just recently been allowed for more time to shepherd the hearts of the children. We are enjoying more connections with them.

Here is an excerpt from a letter that Ephraim sent me from Laguna Verde, Chile, recently:
"I don't feel very excited about working, especially with the atmosphere here. Really, I think it is like heaven. A bit cold in the mornings, but otherwise perfect and relaxing.
I am sitting here in the perfect afternoon weather listening to calming music and sketching out a rough draft for my next book. Both the neighbors refilled their tanks today. I filled mine last time they did, but I still have seven eighths left. I guess that means I have not been washing enough laundry or dishes... But I am living here very comfortable like, and if I had a rocking chair and a shotgun I could sit on my front porch all day like the two uncles in; Second Hand Lions."
