Leon finally was able to get the pipes for making the beds. I can't believe how hard that was. They are being delivered to my big boys today. I am so very proud of my children, Ephraim and Asaph. I sent them some chocolate chip cookies. It was my attempt to link the thought of home with comfort and love.
Asaph called and said that they found a puppy, gave it some crumbs and it followed them home. What a perfect start to our new life! Leon and they even got to meet our new neighbors and borrow from them. We all hope to be a light in that community, to shine like stars in the sky. God's light is so far reaching.
We are leaving Santiago tomorrow morning at 6 am. It will take us about 4 hours, 2 subway trains, one tour bus and one extremely overcrowded and terrifying city bus ride, to get there. I'm so glad to be done, for now at least, with downtown life. However, I will miss the Sunday church group very much. I will especially miss the worship and my friend Becka. It will be emotionally restful to be there in our new cabin. Physically, no one has enough strength to do it. But God will provide that, as only He can. To those who are His, God is our resource and our strength, isn't He.
We won't have internet for a while. I'll write as soon as I can. I love you all. I miss you. Right now I even miss those of you that I haven't met.
