Guest post from Lazuli's big sister

This morning I was watching Lazuli cry and trying to talk her out of it. Mama said not to pick her up, because she was just about to pick her up herself.
"Zuli" was so cute.-- she was waving her arms and kicking her legs, and, when that didn't work, she began the ultimate demonstration of need, she began quivering her chin pitifully. Mama picked her up and she stopped crying in expectation.
"You want some milk?" Mama said. Lazuli responded with some more crying! So right away Mama fed her. I wish I could satisfy Lazuli like that. I want to have my own baby some day.
