Tidbits on growing people

I usually carry my baby's in a posterior position which makes a natural delivery longer and more painful. I was able to turn Elsie anterior by spending a lot of time on my hands and knees, Taylor sitting and never leaning back in chairs. Partly because of this, her delivery was the easiest of all my babies.
I've been doing the same thing with this baby. The midwife told me yesterday that the baby is indeed anterior. Yay!
A week ago, as I was laying in bed trying to catch my breathe, after the strenuous act of pulling up the covers, I had asked God to let the baby move lower.  I wanted to be able to breathe easier and felt like my lungs were squished. I don't remember ever asking Him to do that before. Then at my next prenatal the midwife said that the baby is already dropped and engaged in my pelvis. This is very unusual for me at only 35 weeks gestation.I usually carry my babies 41 1/2 to 42 weeks but it looks like this one may come a little earlier.

Anyway, Leon took 4 children to the Feria today. Havilah and the others and I walked (slowly) up to the store and bought milk. Now we're making coffee and are going to watch one of my favorite girly movies. Ephraim is making burritos for us tonight and I can smell his beans cooking. It smells so good.
Elsie has been asking for "SnickerNoodle cookies". I love the way she says that. Maybe I can make them with her tomorrow.
