Misplaced Longings
We cry sometimes over the lovely home and the dreamy rural setting that we lived in before we came here. I told Naphtali again today, "we knew before we moved, that this new home wouldn't be as great as the one we loved and left behind in Idaho. But, that's okay. We truly believe that God has moved us away from there for His purpose and he fills us with satisfaction and joy.
There will be a series of homes for us before we reach the best home. We are longing for that home that Jesus himself has prepared for us. Someday He will return and will receive us unto Himself that where He is there we will be also. Until then, we have longings and often they are misplaced.
