a few pictures of our home in Chile

Naphtali in our kitchen. We have so much fun preparing food together.
Even though we're in the city, it's real green and the flowers are lovely. Every house has locked gates around it and most of them (ours included) are also in gated communities. Our house is this upright rectangle. Attached to it you can see a wooden door leading to the backyard and a shed where the owners keep there stuff. The lower window is the kitchen and the upper is our bedroom.
This lemon isn't ripe yet but the ones that are ripe are yummy and sweet. There is a little fort in the backyard that the children have to climb a ladder to get to. The 3 little ones enjoy the tiny backyard. There is a washing machine out there and the lines to hang the laundry are there also. The yard, like all the other's I've seen here,is enclosed in tall cement walls. It's a pleasure to go out to gather laundry because of the pleasant air. I've always loved using a laundry line (but not in the winter in Idaho). We'll send some more photo's soon. Thanks for looking.
