We have just received our second donation. Yay!!
God's heart is for adoption.
All of you who belong to Him are His adopted children. It cost Him so much more to adopt us than it costs us to adopt and model His heart to the world! What a grand sermon we are preaching by helping the orphan, the prisoners, the widow etc. in whatever facet that God has gifted or led us.

Jennifer, I am so happy for you and your family...it all is so exciting. Our God is a God of surprises and goose bumps. I hope you get these boys, they are so beautiful!. I just posted a donation through paypal...wish it could be more.
Unfortunatley for all involved, after 8 mos. our adoption of Jesse and Justina was interrupted by the state, much to all of our heartbreak. The short story is very poor case management and politics, I'm afraid. Our beautiful Justina was acting out the sexual pain which she had witnessed in her birth family, which was really tough on our boys...rather than help us with it...they just took them, when we were honest with the real issues, the state took the kids, giving us all 22 hours to pack them up. It was the worst nightmare of my entire life, but God allowed their baptism and entry into the church. When we told Jesse that he and his sister would have to leave tomorrow, he was very sad and quiet and said. "Well, wherever we go, Jesus will be there too."
It was not all for nothing and we will never forget the children and pray for them each day.
God Bless you all,
with love in Christ, Brigid
Jennifer,
I stumbled on your blog and was very encouraged to hear about your adoption! Your ideas for fundraising are great too. I work for a ministry called The ABBA Fund (www.abbafund.org). Our passion is to break down the financial obstacles to adoption by giving interest-free loans to Christian couples. I am constantly talking to people who are trusting God to provide all the funds and looking for fundraising ideas. I would love to share some of yours.
It is an incredible joy to reflect the heart of God in caring for the orphans of the world. Thank you for how you are doing that. I will pray for God's timing in your adoption!
Blessings in Christ,
Jason
