Ephraim and Havilah just passed through Boise. They are sleeping in the car at rest stops and eating out of their cooler. They don't expect to get much sleep. Ephraim can't stretch out, he's really tall. They are pulling a 5' by 8' Uhaul and two hives of bees.
Here at home we are selling a bunch of stuff and continuously dehydrating veggies. I carry around a little heater and it feels like I'm in a sauna while others wear sweatshirts.
We are devouring Joel Salatin's books on farming and common sense.
Every Wednesday we go out and visit grandma and pick up 7 gallons of raw milk. On some Wednesdays (like today) we squeeze in a visit to the midwife.
Today I'm hoping to find out that the baby has turned to an anterior position. I always carry my babies posterior and I have delivered a couple of them that way also. Then a midwife showed me how to turn them to an Anterior position for delivering. That made such a difference in the pain level that I have turned all the rest ever since.
Posterior position was one of the reasons that they gave me for taking my first baby C-section. All I needed to do was spend some time in the hands and knees position and I could have turned him myself. The other reason was that they said he was very big. Then it turned out that he wasn't. All my naturally born babies since him have been bigger.

Do both Ephraim & Havilah drive and how much property did you buy with your home? Praying they sleep the sleep of babes with the protection of God's angels and the new little one turns for you.
