This whole week Chile celebrated the holiday, diez y ocho. Schools, stores and businesses were all closed. We got to go to a school and see traditional dances and choirs. Then we all ate Empanada's and other Chilean foods together. We met a lot of new friends there that day.

Two years ago, when Sim first came into our family, He couldn't read a single word. I love to see him reading.
