August 1st photo's

Leon and I, Elsie and Nehemiah went out to find a computer store so we could buy a printer. We never found it (this happens a lot here). We found a grocery store and got lost on the way back. We were so tired and Elsie was crying. We ended up being gone 3 hours. It was sort of fun. These are the Andes behind me. They are visible everywhere I go around here. No matter what is going on, I always feel peaceful when I look at them. I want to go up there and live there with my family.
This was the bumpiest and oldest bus I'd ever been on. It was taking us out toward those mountains to meet with the church out there.
Here is where we met on Sunday. There was a family there that spoke English. Everyone else only spoke Spanish and the sermon was in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish (except a few words). Even so, I was moved to tears at one point. The people loved us. It was very cold inside the building. I took my little ones into the icy bathroom and tried to wash our hands with icy water. I looked into the mirror and said, "I think being in Chile these 2 weeks has aged my face about 5 years". Zuriel (10) said, "yes, but you talk nicer here so we like being with you more".
There were a lot of these plants. They look like giant Aloe Vera plants.
This is the view out of the bathroom window.
