baby Goodenough

We have not had the baby yet.
Our USCIS approval for the adoption expired. We are renewing our home study with new physicals (today), new fingerprints (Wednesday) and a home study update August 11th with a small amount of paperwork and a fee. The boys have their passports and birth certificates and are waiting for the judge to sign something else. We are hoping to have our paperwork finished again before the judge finds out that it's expired. Our case worker understands the urgency and is doing her best to get it done fast.
These are thrilling days as we await our darling gift from God of our new little baby. Our whole family has been excited over the time of labor and birth for weeks now. Especially since we passed our due date last Tuesday.
Please pray for me to have confidence and peace throughout the labor and birth. Thanks.
