miscellaneous

It snowed on June 10th. It had been feeling like spring and after the snow stopped, it went on feeling like spring.
Three of the new chicks died. I think it's because we were heating them with a heater that blows. We switched to a light and they are doing fine. We bought some more this weekend and now we have 13 chicks and one duckling under the light.
Asaph started a meat rabbit business. He now has two does and one buck. Two are New Zealand/Californian. The other is a Dutch.
Ephraim bought the two milking goats from us and now owns the goat business. He sells the milk to me at a very reasonable rate.

We have no new news about Simeon and Patrick. We are expecting to learn more about following the still small voice of the Lord.

Our new Yum Yum Family recording is being mastered and we hope to have it available this summer. It will be easy to get for anyone who wants one. We are playing a little show at a coffee shop (Calypsos) this next Tuesday.

Asaph's 9th birthday is this Monday and Ephraim is secretly making him a fire breathing dragon cake.

God blessed me with a bunch of cotton fabric today for a very low price at a yard sale. Havilah bought a whole bag of yarn and we found many other great deals as well. I bought a huge set of pretty dishes for $1.50. We really needed these things. The Lord provided.

We are playing downtown Coeur D Alene at Calypsos Coffee Tuesday (116 Lakeside) June 17th around 7:30 pm. The set is only a half hour, so it will be easy to miss.
