catching up after a long delay

Sorry about the long delay. We are living in our new house in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Many changes have occurred or are in the works.
We are planning and waiting for the new wonder God has brought into our lives. A picture of His creative power and beauty. We are expecting to look on his or her tiny face any day now but, probably not for another week.
We love the smell of the air out here. Ephraim and Asaph came across a female moose in the woods. Ephraim told Asaph, "run for your life!". They both made it back alive and the next day Leon got them all a dog. Leon got to see a pair of moose a couple weeks later trotting leisurely through our back yard. Our guard dog cowered, shivering on our porch trying to remain unnoticed. We have seen other moose, coyotes and many deer. There are small brown deer and huge gray ones. They are bigger than any deer I had previously seen. Leon saw a beaver and we have all seen the bald eagles.
Leon works long hours Monday through Friday while I attend to the children's education and fun.
In our free time we are editing the Yum Yum album (after 10 years in the making). We are learning to sing together in 4 part harmony. This is no small feat for us and Leon is incredibly patient with our lack of skill. The kids are also still writing their own songs for their band Four Lights In The Night.
We planted a garden, raspberries and herbs of which half are still alive. We plan to come to the Cannon Beach Conference Center in August for my family reunion and squeeze in a few of our friends and family members who can't make it to Cannon Beach. Then At the end of September we are looking forward to the Above Rubies family camp near Spokane. We encourage everyone to attend this. It's sure to be inspiring, encouraging and convicting. It would also be a great opportunity for us to see you and for you to see why we love Northern Idaho so much. You could even come out and see our place. Not that it's impressive but you may find it nice to be able to picture us in our environment when we talk about home or call etc.

I'm not sure what is important to talk about right now.
Care for the orphan.
I'll blog again soon, unless I have the baby before I can. In which case I'll be too busy snuggling and resting.

I am so excited you had a chance to blog! I cannot wait to see you and hug you in August. It's so soon now. Blessings on the birth. I cannot wait to see her! And I say her, because that's the progression thus far. I miss you terribly and am so glad God is touching you where you are. Keep steadfast and faithful I love you all.
