In Bartlesville, Missing You

Well, did I tell you we are buying a house? We have been here in Oklahoma for 2 weeks. We found a house in Bartlesville and the seller has accepted our offer so we are leaving the Smith's house today. We are staying in a hotel until we can move in. It should be quick because we are buying with cash. We hope to move in on Zuriel's birthday (August 12th, she'll be 5!!). That gives us 7 days to have the inspections and if the Lord wills, close, and install central air conditioning. We are very excited and had a hard time sleeping last night.
The businesses in Tulsa and Bartlesville seem to prefer hiring locally and having an Oklahoma City address has slowed the job search a bit. Leon has generated interest in Ok city but, that's not where we are going as a family. Please pray that Leon can get the job he wants in Bartlesville. Life is short and eternity is long so pursue eternity. We miss home churching with you Flechtner's, Hentchell's, Bree, Mr. Lacka, Westcott's, Nicki, Steve and Vaughn, Matt, Phil, and whoever I forgot. We miss seeing and loving you, Swanson's, Dimmick's, Simonatti's. We miss our family Grandma and Grandpa Goodenough and Guinn and Collins (I love you Betsy), Kevin, Linda, Kial and Lullabye, Chris, Erin and Flannery, Pat and Kenn. We also miss you who I forgot to mention, you know who you are.

God has obviously heard our years of prayer. We have been asking for an affordable place to finish our work well with children and music. Through circumstances we could not have planned for He has put us in a place with business opportunities, ministry opportunities, and real estate is incredibly inexpensive compared to anything on the west coast! Bartlesville is a really sweet little town only 1/2 hour north of Tulsa where you can get just about anything you need. If you are interested in living mortgage free and being close enough to the city, come and live near us.
